“We are the temple of the living God.”

2 Corinthians 6:16 (NIV)

We can invite people to come to church, and we can have the church go into the community. But those aren’t our only options—we can be the church wherever we are. We can show Christ’s life and love in all of our ordinary relationships, at work, in our family, and with our neighbors—anywhere at any time.

God wants to live and work in and through you to touch people with his love. He wants to use you where you are Monday through Saturday (not just in a church building on Sunday). He wants to touch people with his love across the sea and down your street. This is not a program, rather it is an “unprogram.” It is a way of life. It is listening to God’s Spirit in you and following his nudges. So, take the next step in following Jesus. Ask God, “How do you want to use me here and now, and how do I touch my neighbors, friends, and family with your love?” Then listen and obey. You will be the church.
